The Streetwalker gallery welcomes you, especially all you random bypassers, to whom contemporary art practices and hermetic gallery activities are pretty much greek.

This outdoor gallery is using “ready-made” principles to reinterpret public space and expose existing urban compositions, landscapes, installations and artifacts. To make you notice stuff that you would probably miss otherwise.

So please take the tour (follow the numbers – or not if you don’t want to), just have fun, take your time, watch the videos, and then go out and discover some artworks of your own!

This project is a result of workshops lead and organized by Kud Ljud as a part of the international programme for informal artistic mobility H.O.M.E. – Houses for Open Mobility Exchange.

Hej ti!

Galerija Pocestnica te pozdravlja, še posebej vse naključne mimoidoče, ki sta jim sodobna umetnost in galerijska dejavnost španska vas in lanski sneg.

Naša ulična galerija z uporabo »ready-made« principov reinterpretira konkreten javni prostorin tako razstavlja kar obstoječe urbane kompozicije, pejsaže, instalacije in artefakte. Stvari, ki jih največkrat spregledamo, pa jih je vredno opaziti.

Zato te vabimo na ogled (sledi številkam – ni pa nujno) zabavaj se, vzemi si čas, in potem pojdi še sam ven odkrit kakšno ulično umetnino. Fotografiraj jo in pošlji skupaj z naslovom, imenom avtorja in ostalimi podatki na 031 403 525 ali kudljud@gmail.com.

Projekt je rezultat delavnice, ki jo je v okviru mednarodnega programa neformalne umetniške mobilnosti H.O.M.E. – Houses for Open Mobility Exchange vodil in organiziral Kud Ljud.

Za sodelovanje se zahvaljujem vsem gostujočim umetnikom, prebivalcem galerije ter soorganizatorjema Studiu 8 in Zavodu SCCA-Ljubljana.
